Ritchie HF-743 Helmsman Compass - Black Flush Mount

The Helmsman Compass features a 3-3/4" CombiDamp Dial and is easily installed, fitting a 4" (10.16cm) mounting hole. It has exclusive built-in Green NiteVu Night Illumination and built-in compensators to easily adjust for deviation. The scientifically matched sapphire jewel and hardened steel pivot dial movement ensure accuracy. Its powerful DirectiveForce magnets allow for fast heading lock-on, and it also includes a movable sun shield and 45-degree lubber lines.

Constructed with high temperature composite material, the Helmsman Compass has an extended operating range and is 100% repairable. It comes with a 5-year Ritchie warranty and has an approximate shipping weight of 2lbs (907g). It is also adaptable with adapter rings available for purchase separately. The compass has a retrofits existing mounting hole for Model No. HF-73 with the option to order H-ABLK, and for Model No. HF-73W to order H-AWHT.

Notes: The compass comes standard with 12V lighting, with options for 24 & 32V lighting available. Some custom built OEM models may have different lighting. For all Helmsman built before 1992, please see the service manual page 5-14 or contact Ritchie for replacement lighting.
